FAQ
1. Why choose me as your wedding photographer?
I have my own unique way of seeing, shaped by a lifetime of photography and visual arts.
My career began in professional New York City darkrooms, processing photographic film and creating custom black-and-white prints. I later studied photography at the School of Visual Arts in NYC and spent 18 years working in the film and video industry, developing my understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling.
2. How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
I recommend booking your wedding photographer 9–18 months in advance, especially if you’re planning a wedding during peak seasons (spring, summer, or fall). Popular dates fill quickly — particularly Saturdays in late spring and early fall. If you have your venue secured and your date confirmed, it’s a good idea to reach out as soon as possible. My calendar tends to fill fast, and I only take on a limited number of weddings each year to give every couple my full attention.
3. What’s required to book you as our photographer?
To officially reserve your wedding date, a signed contract and a 50% retainer are required. The retainer secures your date on my calendar and ensures that I am fully committed to your wedding day. The remaining balance is due prior to the wedding, as outlined in your agreement. All booking terms and contingency details are clearly explained in the contract, so you can move forward with confidence & clarity.
